There's something compelling about night photography for me, probably because familiar locations transform into something almost entirely unfamiliar. I was walking home from the grocery store when I saw this image, and it was too eerie for me to pass up. I like how puddles can almost feel like a portal to another world, an inverse universe if you will.
Great photo! You got the reflection just right in my opinion. the lines in this photo are really great, especially the contrast of the straight curb line and the wavy puddle line.
ReplyDeleteI like the composition and the use of the reflection. This would be a really compelling photo if the reflection was something other than a sign... like an alien space craft abducting cows and simultaneously creating crop circles.
