10/19/15

I took this photo on my way back home, and I was pleased by how differently it turned out from what I'd expected. The loss of detail on the closer object created a sort of silhouette that actually evoked the Cristo Redentor statue in Rio de Janeiro for me. Of course, there I go reading into a silly photo of a sprinkler.

  1. Dude, that's a really interesting comparison from a sprinkler to the Cristo Redentor. I think that says a lot about the unique way that you look in the world. It explains a lot about your voice and vision. Makes me wonder what kind of documentarian you would be.

  2. It's cool how perspective can give such a small object so much power. This sprinkler breeching the trees and going into the sky appears massive and foreboding.

  3. I agree with the homies - the prospective of this shot makes that sprinkler look massive.
