10/5/15

This was shot with a longer lens, since I like the shallow depth of field you get with a longer focal length. I think it has the effect of making the space look more vast and intimidating, and creating a sort of sad sense of uncertainty regarding one's location.

  1. I like how you're experimenting with shallow depth of field. To me, it brings the subject into their thoughts. They have to be in a big open space in order to focus on themselves. That is the effect of daydreaming for me.

  2. Your pictures get better and better. Great use of composition and depth of field to allow Waluigi to not seem the small toy that he is. Have you ever heard of a Tilt Shift effect? You would love it, and would use it in crazy creative ways.

  3. I'm glad Waluigi gets a chance to rest after all his hard work protecting the world. The colors, especially the sunlight make this relaxing.
