I took this photo while shopping at thrift stores for costumes the other day. I find it extra creepy how some stores will display these naked Barbie dolls in plastic bags hanging from hooks. It looks like something from a serial killer's basement. I got a few shots closer up, but I liked this one because it showed more of the space and the inherent horror.
This is horrifying, and perfect for Halloween. Actually, I'm pretty obsessed with this photo. The color of the wall behind it and the sequence of hooks poking out makes this look like some kind of demented meat freezer. Fantastic.
ReplyDeleteWhoa, this is awesome. There is so much commentary that can go along with this. Sex trafficking, domestic abuse, materialism, objectivism, it goes on. It may not mean anything. It could just be a disturbing image.
ReplyDeleteThis is insane. Not only was it a good find, but the way you chose to frame this picture adds to the eeriness of it. Like, how long does this wall of bagged bodies go for?
